Who needs a license?
Anyone who works as an event physician at a boxing, kickboxing, or martial arts event when the event is required to be overseen by the Department of Licensing or an amateur mixed martial arts sanctioning organization.
How to apply
Follow the steps below to get your physician license for combative sports.
1. Meet the requirements
To get physician license, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have an active license as a doctor of medicine (MD), doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO), or doctor of naturopathic medicine (ND) under the laws of any jurisdiction in which you reside.
2. Submit your application
