- Submit your certification documents.
Required documents
- Proof of Honorable Veteran Status (provide one):
- Redacted DD214 (Member 4 copy)
- Retired VA ID Card
- Retirement or Discharge Certificate
- Military ID, badge, or recent pay statement (if currently serving)
- Proof of 51% Business Ownership (provide one):
- Master Business Application
- Business plan, operating agreement, meeting minutes
- Shares report, stock certificate breakdown
- Tax forms showing ownership percentage
- Business license (for sole proprietorship)
- Proof of Washington State Enterprise:
- Proof the business is incorporated in Washington or has its principal place of business in the state.

Business Impact NW
Business Impact NW provides coaching, classes, and access to capital to community small businesses. They focus on:
- Entrepreneurial low/moderate income earners.

The SBLT is made up of representatives from 27 agencies. They've created a small business guide to help you plan, start, and run your small business. Their goal is to have an informed small business community that understands what's needed to comply with the state's licensing and regulatory requirements.
