Learn more about business-to-government batch filing and searches and the pros and cons of using this option.
Before you get started
Business-to-government filing uses Extensible Markup Language (XML) to accept one or more pre-entered electronic financing statements or search requests via the internet.
XML is a markup language that provides rules to define any data. Unlike other programming languages, XML cannot perform computing operations by itself. Instead, any programming language or software can be implemented for structured data management. Please note:
- If your system is programmed to print the data to a form, you must change the program to output data in the nationally defined XML format for UCC records.
- You can manually log onto the secure UCC website to post the filings, or your computer can automatically post the request to the UCC system and receive an electronic confirmation.
- The acknowledgment will be returned in XML format.
Should I use this option?
