Renew your license
- You must renew your license every year by January 31.
- You may renew 120 days before your license expires.
- Update your contact information, if necessary, before you renew your license.
Renewal requirements
Make sure you have completed the required continuing education. Keep records of your professional development in case we ask you for them during an audit. Learn more about continuing education and audits.
Gather the required documents:
- Your license number
- Documents for legal background questions (if needed)
- Payment for the license renewal fee
- A completed Embalmer Renewal Application form (if you're renewing by mail)

To renew your license by mail, follow the instructions on your renewal notice.
If you did not receive a renewal notice, call us at 360-664-1555.
