How to do business with us
We post all bid notifications, addenda, and updates on Washington's Electronic Business Solution (WEBS). You can register with WEBS to get bid notifications from all participating government agencies.
Current contracts
Search and view current contracts on the Department of Enterprise Services website.
Bid opportunities
To register as a vendor and find bid opportunities, see how to work with the state.
You must register with WEBS before you can get notified about Department of Licensing opportunities, view updates, or submit responses.
Sole-source contracts
In certain cases, we may enter contracts without competitive bidding. These are known as sole-source contracts. Under state law (RCW 39.26.140(1)), we must:
- Make sole-source contracts available for public inspection for at least 10 working days before the intended start date.
- Post instructions on how to get a copy of sole-source contracts.

Minority- and women-owned businesses
Washington encourages minority- and women-owned businesses to compete for government contracts. The Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprise (OMWBE) offers programs and certification to help these businesses access more opportunities.
Veteran-owned businesses
State law encourages agencies to award 3% of all procurement contracts without competitive bidding requirements to certified veteran-owned businesses. The Department of Veterans Affairs has more information about certifying a veteran-owned business.
Upcoming purchases
The Forecasted Needs report lists our planned purchases from October 2024 through October 2025. We'll post an updated report every year on October 1st.
The report includes various types of procurement opportunities with the us. Our goal is to work with more businesses certified through the Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises or the Department of Veterans Affairs. If you are a certified business and can meet one of our needs, please reach out to one of the contacts listed in the report.
