We're happy to help schedule an appointment for you.
To make sure we can schedule an interpreter, please email us as soon as possible. We can usually schedule an interpreter if we have at least 5 business days' notice.
Language interpreters for drive tests
Drive tests are conducted at driver training schools and some DOL offices. If you need a drive test conducted in a language other than English:
- Use our interactive map to find a driver training school that offers a test in your preferred language. If you find a driver training school that offers the language you need, schedule your drive test with that school.
- If you cannot find the language you need at a driver training school in your area, you can schedule a drive test at a DOL driver licensing office. To schedule the drive test, visit your local driver licensing office. The licensing representative will work with you to make sure you have everything you need to take the test and help find an office to schedule your test. If we do not have an employee available that speaks the language needed, we also can use visual flash cards to perform the drive test.
