How to renew your license: Auctioneers

Auctioneer or Auction Company licenses must be renewed yearly. To renew your license, choose one of the following options.

If you received a renewal notice in the mail and your license is about to expire or has expired:

You must submit:

• the bottom portion of the renewal notice.
• the fee.
• a completed Financial Certification Affidavit (form is included with your renewal notice or can be found with Auctioneer Registration Application packet).

Use the envelope provided to send these items to:

If you did NOT receive a renewal notice and your license is about to expire or has expired:

Write us a letter and include:

• your name.
• your current mailing address.
• the type of license you are renewing.
• your license number or birth date.
• a completed Financial Certification Affidavit (form is part of the Auctioneer Registration Application packet.)
• the fee (make check or money order payable to “Washington State Treasurer”).

Send the letter, affidavit, and fee to:
